Chaucers is a subterranean cellar bar and restaurant on the busy Exeter city centre High Street, decorated with traditional oak beams and flooring, snug alcoves, Chesterfield sofas and romantic lighting. You will feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city while you relax with a glass of wine from our extensive selection, or one of our real ales, which are some of the best in Devon! Our delicious food menu, which has been developed over several years and is unique to Marston's, offers everything from a lunchtime snack to a hearty steak, or you may choose from one of our daily specials. Chaucers also have a selection of special promotions on both meals and drinks, so please call us to find out what's on offer today. We have a policy of not allowing under-14s into Chaucers so we can guarantee a peaceful, relaxing child-free visit.
